The National Gallery’s Grand Tour (see last but one item) has been featured on national television. five’s resident art critic Tim Marlow trawled the streets of London to view all the paintings, from Constable to Caravaggio, and asked the public what they thought. Naturally, the totalcontent-written plaques played a significant supporting role.
